For project #1, I really want to aim for AI images and videos that have to do with nature, animals, and woodland environments. I sketch little creatures and landscapes somewhat often and they’re something I find so fun to come up and get creative with. I love using non-local colors when it comes to landscapes as I think it makes the scene more interesting to look at. I considered using the animated portraits that I created on the My Heritage AI site for the glitch project as I thought that the old time-y portrait videos would look very cool against a glitch, but I feel like the black and white background would look somewhat plain as a background for the glitch. I think it’ll definitely take me a few tries on different AI platforms until I find images and videos that work with that theme but I’m hoping that my AI inputs and sketch animations will produce results I can work with. I want to focus on my AI images that have brighter color schemes as I think it’ll make the image more eye catching and fun. I think the glitch project could look cool against a more organic and vibrant background. If the glitch against a brighter background looks too busy, I may revert back to using the animated portrait videos. I’m still pretty new to digital art in general, much less AI, but I’m excited to see where this project goes and what I’m able to create and come up with.
