For my second project, I really want to challenge myself since Blender is still very new to me, but I still want to have fun and enjoy the creatures I am creating. In order to do this, I want to create creatures that can be formed through simpler shapes so that hopefully the forming of them on Blender will be more precise. I think I want to create fun, cartoonish characters, taking a step back from the dark ambiance that went along with my first project. I really love bright, vibrant colors and I’m hoping to use some in the process of making these creatures come to life. I want the overall theme of this new project to be Halloween since it’s my favorite holiday and also includes many well-known motifs. I’m planning on creating Halloween creatures such as a black cat, a pumpkin, a piece of candy, a ghost, and/or a melting candle. I would love to create all five of these characters on blender, but I also want to take my time in creating them so that I do my best. Because of this, I am just going to complete as many as I can and hopefully end up with several creatures that I enjoy and am also satisfied with. I think I want to start with the candy as I think that will be easiest. I’m slightly nervous about attempting the black cat as I think that one will be the most complicated, but nonetheless I am hoping to try it out and see how it goes.
